[Taylor, TX – April 2025] – Taylor Economic Development Corporation (TEDC) is pleased to announce the official execution of a significant performance agreement with iMarketAmerica This landmark agreement outlines a minimum investment of $50 million by iMarket into Phase 1 of an ambitious development project, set to transform the local economic landscape.
Phase 1 will see the construction of over 350,000 square feet of state-of-the-art facilities, with construction scheduled to begin no later than October 2025. Upon full buildout, the project is anticipated to cover approximately 2.2 million square feet, providing a significant boost to the local economy, employment opportunities, and community infrastructure.
In support of this transformative initiative, TEDC has committed to extending critical infrastructure, including the installation of a wastewater line to the project site and assistance in funding a new traffic signal at the intersection of Carlos G Parker Blvd and E. Walnut Street. Additionally, TEDC will make a one-time payment to remove the project property from the Manville CCN, further facilitating development progress.
