Water, Wastewater, and Garbage

The City of Taylor provides water, wastewater, and garbage services to all residential and commercial customers within the city limits. 

Taylor receives an ample supply of water for residents, businesses, and future growth. Water is sourced from nearby Granger Lake and is provided by the City of Taylor via the Brazos River Authority. Water is treated at The East Williamson County Regional Water System (EWCRWS), which is designed to treat approximately 12.5 million gallons of surface water from Granger Lake per day.

Infrastructure Improvements

Taylor is committed to making improvements in infrastructure to support our local businesses and residents. In 2019, the City of Taylor approved $13.1 million in bond funds for infrastructure improvements, with funds allocated for road and drainage improvements, water and wastewater line replacement, and right-of-way driveway repairs.
