Construction is well underway at the RCR Taylor Logistics Park northeast of Austin in Taylor, Texas and the company is aiming for a September 1st opening date.
The 750-acre RCR Taylor Logistics Park is west of Taylor in Williamson County and is positioned to serve manufacturing, storage and logistics industries of Central Texas.
Both BNSF Railway and Union Pacific Railroad will serve the rail park and it offers access to Texas 79 and Interstate 35. RCR Rail Company, which also operates RCR Hempstead Logistics Park in Hempstead said in a news release that the Taylor rail park “will serve national and international grade manifest, transload and unit train firms that want to locate in the region”.
A third rail park is under consideration by RCR Rail but the site has not been announced.
