[Taylor, TX – November 2025] – The Taylor Economic Development Corporation (TEDC) is proud to announce a major milestone in the development of Gradiant Technology Park, as iMarketAmerica officially broke ground on Phase 1 of its transformative project. This marks the next significant step following the execution of a performance agreement earlier this year, which outlined a minimum investment of $50 million into this first phase alone.
Originally announced in April, the project represents one of the most substantial private investments in Taylor’s recent history. Phase 1 includes more than 350,000 square feet of state-of-the-art facilities, with full buildout anticipated to reach approximately 2.2 million square feet. This development is expected to generate long-term economic benefits, create new job opportunities, and strengthen community infrastructure.
To ensure the success of this landmark initiative, TEDC has committed to extending wastewater service to the project site and supporting the installation of a new traffic signal at the intersection of Carlos G. Parker Blvd. and E. Walnut Street. TEDC will also make a one-time payment to remove the property from the Manville CCN, helping to streamline the development process and remove barriers to progress.
These contributions underscore TEDC’s dedication to supporting high-impact projects and to advancing strategic, sustainable growth for the City of Taylor.
At the groundbreaking ceremony, local leaders, community members, and project partners gathered to commemorate the beginning of construction and recognize the extensive collaboration that made this milestone possible.
“We are extremely excited that this significant milestone has been reached,” said Betty Day, TEDC Board Chair. “This agreement represents tremendous collaboration and effort by all parties involved, and we deeply appreciate the patience and support we've received from the community as we navigated this complex process. We look forward to seeing this project come to life, positively impacting Taylor and its residents for years to come.”
Incheol Kim, CEO of iMarketAmerica, shared, “I would like to express my sincere gratitude for TEDC’s unwavering support and cooperation. We look forward to your continued interest and partnership as Gradiant Technology Park grows into one of the most iconic developments in the Austin area.”
The groundbreaking of Phase 1 reflects iMarketAmerica’s long-term commitment to Taylor and positions Gradiant Technology Park as a future hub for innovation, growth, and economic opportunity. TEDC is honored to help advance this vision and support the continued prosperity of the community.
A great day for Taylor — and an exciting step forward in shaping the region’s future.
